The report is based on a project carried out in collaboration between the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB), manufacturers and distributors of emergency vehicles and tools for the emergency services and representatives from the automotive industry. The goal of the project has been to present a guide for actions against propagating lithium-ion batteries and to add and increase knowledge and understanding about electric vehicles and other battery-powered applications. The project’s results are based on requirements and recommendations from manufacturers and other actors active in industry and the emergency services.
