David Nielsen from a Fire Service in southern Sweden guides you through the webinar and asks our guests questions from a Fire Service perspective. The first guest is Per Ola Malmquist from the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB). Per Ola has been part of a project to develop a method for extinguishing Li-ion batteries and will tell us about the tests and risks involved with Li-ion batteries. The next speaker is Daniel Scott from Cold Cut Systems. Daniel participated operationally in the trials. He will talk about how to extinguish EV battery fires with Cobra safely and efficiently. Finally, Håvard Hauge from the Fire & Rescue Service Vestfold, Norway, shares his experiences using the Cobra to extinguish a burning electric car in a garage.
